Taiwanese Teen Dies Following Hardcore Diablo 3 Session
A teenager in Taiwan has died following a 40-hour hardcore gaming session, where he played Diablo 3 without taking any kind of break.
The 18-year old, who was called Chuang, booked out a private room at an internet cafe in Tainan, in southern Taiwan. He took no breaks while playing the game, not even to eat food.
One of the attendants of the cafe found him sleeping at the end of his session and woke him up. The teenager then proceeded to stand and collapsed almost instantly. He was pronounced dead shortly after arriving at a nearby hospital.
