THQ Pulls Plug On Red Faction Franchise
Following on from initial sales of Red Faction: Armageddon, THQ has decided that the franchise has no discernible future and will now abandon it for good.
In a statement which will be disappointing to Red Faction fans, THQ CEO Brian Farrell said "we do not intend to carry forward with that franchise in any meaningful way."
Instead, the development team responsible for Armageddon will be moving to the upcoming Guillermo del Toro game, inSane, which they hope can make a bigger splash.
