Ubisoft Halve Red Steel 2 Sales Estimations

Ubisoft have announced that they have halved their sales expectations for their upcoming Wii exclusive first-person shooter, Red Steel 2. It is now expected to sell approximately 500,000 units.
The news comes following the poor performance of other core titles in 2009 from fellow companies, such as Dead Space Extraction, Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicles and The Conduit.
Red Steel 2 is itself the follow-up to Red Steel, and this time it will be taking full advantage of Nintendo's Wii MotionPlus device, which will allow for much more accurate sword combat.
The game currently has a release date of March in Europe and North America.
