Ubisoft Montreal & Toronto CEO to Headline DIG London Conference

Yannis Mallat, CEO of Ubisoft Montreal & Toronto, has been announced to headline the London, Ontario based games conference, DIG London (Digital Interactive Gaming London). 2009 marks DIG's second year, with the conference open to members of the gaming industry and post-secondary students.

Mallat has worked on a number of well-known Ubisoft Montreal titles, such as Assassin's Creed and Prince of Persia, but it has yet to determined if he will speak about any of the studio's currently in-production games. Speaking with one of DIG London's coordinators, Kade Ward, some light was shed on what Mallat may focus on,

I know he is speaking on being one of the top employers and their team strategy - Yannis is a big believer in cultivating strong teams in order to create solid games.

Mallat will present his keynote at DIG London on November 4th, the second and final day of the conference. Denis Dyack is also among the list of speakers at DIG London 2009. GamingUnion.net is an official partner of DIG London, look for complete coverage of the event in November.
