Travis Strikes Back
Posted on 2009/06/01 by Shawn
Ubisoft has announced that they will be publishing No More Heroes: Desperate Struggle, the sequel to original No More Heroes, in North America. The original game won numerous awards, such as GamePro’s Wii game of the year, GameSpot’s Best Wii game and Editor’s Choice award and Best Original IP, IGN’s Best Wii Story and Best Action Wii Game. Tony Key, senior vice president of sales and marketing at Ubisoft, had this to say about picking up the game in North America:
Ubisoft is excited to bring No More Heroes 2: Desperate Struggle to North American gamers. No More Heroes won countless accolades from both gamers and media alike, making the sequel one of the most anticipated core titles for Wii.
Travis once again finds himself at the bottom of the UAA (United Assassins Association) ladder and has to reclaim his No. 1 assassin spot. The sequel will allow Travis Touchdown to wield two katanas at once and face multiple bosses at once.
No More Heroes: Desperate Struggle is being created by Soichi Suda (more commonly known by the nickname Suda 51) and is being developed by Grasshopper Manufacture. Ubisoft will be releasing the game in early 2010 in North America.
