UK Charts: Dead Island, Space Marine, Resistance 3 Go Head To Head
Dead Island has managed to emerge victorious this week, following the release of numerous big-budget titles all at the same time. It held off stiff competition from Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine and Resistance 3.
Space Marine debuted in second, while Driver: San Francisco managed to hold off Resistance 3. Deus Ex: Human Revolution was then down in fifth to round things out.
Of the other new releases this week, Star Fox 64 3D appeared in 9th, while NHL 12 was in 12th. Rise of Nightmares debuted in 37th, while El Shaddai failed to appear in the top 40.
The other surprise this week, was the resurgence of Gran Turismo 5, which shot back up into the Top 10 for the first time in months - go Polyphony Digital!
