UK Charts: FIFA 12 Shoots Straight Into First

Following on from last year's massive success for EA Sports, FIFA 12 has gone straight in at the top of the UK video game sales charts.

It replaced Gears of War 3 at the top of the charts, which had a bumper launch last week. F1 2011 also dropped down from 2nd to 3rd as a result.

The surprise this week was the ICE & Shadow of the Colossus HD collection appearing in 7th, while other new release X-Men Destiny could only manage to chart in 18th.
