Uncharted 2 Sells 3.5 Million Worldwide
Naughty Dog's critically acclaimed title Uncharted 2: Among Thieves has sold 3.5 million copies worldwide, which makes it the fastest selling Sony first-party game ever according to Sony Computer Entertainment America's VP of Product Development Scott Rohde. While posting on the US PlayStation Blog, he added that the game has an online community of over 1.5 million users worldwide.
Rohde also touted Uncharted 2's recent success at the Interactive Achievement Awards; the game won a total of ten awards, the most of any game nominated, including Game of the Year for 2009. According to Rohde, "Uncharted 2 has also garnered more than 150 other industry awards."
The latest Uncharted 2 downloadable content, which includes new maps, skins and trophies, will be available February 25th for $5.99 USD on the PlayStation Store.
