Uncharted 3 Helps Franchise Top 13 Million Units Sold
Sony has revealed that Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception has enabled the franchise to top 13 million units sold since it debuted in 2007.
Each iteration has allowed the franchise to move to the next level, with Uncharted 3 doubling the first-week sales of Uncharted 2: Among Thieves, which released in 2009. However, Sony refused to reveal how many units Uncharted 3 has sold since its release. Instead, a Sony representative reiterated that they shipped 3.8 million units to retailers for the first day of release.
Uncharted's next appearance will come on the PlayStation Vita, which releases on the 22nd of February, 2012. This time it's being handled by Sony Bend, with Uncharted: Golden Abyss being the game in question.
