Unreal Engine Powered Monday Night Combat Coming To XBLA
Uber Entertainment today announced a new Xbox Live Arcade title by the name of 'Monday Night Combat'. Using Epic Games' Unreal Engine 3, this new game will have both co-op and online play on top of a single player campaign involving class-based, third-person shooter action.
Monday Night Combat will consists of game show style challenges and rewards in order to win cash and endorsements in game. Think like extreme dodgeball meets Team Fortress 2. Unreal Engine 3 will also probably make the game look very detailed for an arcade title as well, since the tech has already been proven with Shadow Complex being released on the same engine just last year.
Monday Night Combat does not have a set release date or price point set quite yet, but it is expected for release on Xbox Live Arcade sometime later this year.
