Upcoming Final Fantasy 13-2 DLC Will Include Mass Effect 3 Costumes

Square Enix has announced that a future batch of downloadable content for Final Fantasy XIII-2 will see further cross-overs with gaming's most popular characters. This time, the likeness of Commander Shepard from Mass Effect.

The likeness of Ezio Auditore from Assassin's Creed: Revelations was already drafted in as a costume for Noel, but it looks as though Serah and Noel will now be able to dress up as if they were roaming the realm of Mass Effect 3.

To allow this to make sense, the duo will be travelling far into the future via the Historia Crux. Although it is a bit ironic considering BioWare's previous comments about the Final Fantasy franchise. Perhaps it's time to finally play nice?

It will certainly be interesting to see if Square Enix has further plans to add more characters into the game. Who knows, maybe next we'll see platform exclusive costumes. Maybe Noel could sport the outfits of either Master Chief or Nathan Drake. It also increases the possibility of seeing Serah dressed up like Lara Croft.

There's no release date at present for this in the West, as it was sourced by Japanese publication Famitsu. The image used for the piece also isn't representative of the final product which will feature in the game.
