Viacom Looking To Sell Rock Band Developer Harmonix
Viacom has announced that they're planning to sell Harmonix, the developer behind the Rock Band franchise. This comes as a result of Rock Band 3's poor performance since launch.
Viacom purchased the studio four years ago for $175 million and allowed them a few more liberties. However, despite previous success the company made a loss of $65 million in the recent financial quarter.
The studio recently released Dance Central as an exclusive for Microsoft Kinect.
