Want A Free Wolfenstein? Help It Outsell Madden.
Want to get a free copy of Wolfenstein, set to hit North America and Europe next week? All you need to do is make sure the game outsells Madden NFL 10, according to Raven Software designer Manveer Heir. And yes, he is being completely serious.
Here's what he had to say on his Twitter account:
Here's the deal folks: if Wolfenstein outsells Madden 10 in August I will personally pay for your copy (keep your receipt) - SPREAD THE WORD
Since that tweet, he has detailed the rules and guidelines for the bet. Reimbursements will be allowed for both North American and European buyers. He will be using NPD numbers to determine whether or not he has to pay. Finally, you have to be following him to be able to participate.
Considering the massive following behind the Madden franchise, it unlikely that it will happen, but weirder things have happened before. So if you want to promote the game and get paid for it, go out and buy the game this month.
