White Knight Chronicles Shown At PlayStation Gamers Day

Sony Computer Entertainment America (SCEA) showed off the first English playable build of White Knights Chronicles, Level 5's first PlayStation 3 game, during their recent PlayStation Gamers Day event.
White Knight Chronicles uses a real-time battle system which automatically activates when enemies are present. Commands can be preset before battle, but you will need to use basic attacks to stagger the enemy, else they will block or deflect your attacks. You control one of the party members, the rest are controlled via the game's AI.
The game features a online aspects that allows you to partake in special quests, although this part of the game didn't do that well in Japan due to many Japanese not wanting to play with people they were unfamiliar with. This is a stark contrast to online gaming in America, which could bode well for sales of the game due to the online play.
The current build of North American version looks to be exactly the same as the Japanese version, although extra dungeons, items, etc. could be added as the game nears closer to release.
