Zampella, West Trial With Activision Dated For May 2012
A date has finally been set on the huge Modern Warfare-related lawsuit between Vince Zampella and Jason West, formerly of Infinity Ward, and Activision.
The pair formed Infinity Ward in 2002, but they were fired in 2010 for "insubordination" by Activision. However, the pair then filed a lawsuit for $125 million as well as the rights to the Modern Warfare IP.
Activision countered this with a lawsuit for Vampella, West and their new publishing partner EA, as they claimed EA tried to take the duo from Infinity Ward while they were still under contract.
The court date has been set for May 2012, just before E3.
