ZeniMax Acquire Publishing Rights to RAGE

ZeniMax Media Inc. who recently acquired id Software in June 2009, have announced that they have picked up the publishing rights for id Software's under-development first-person shooter, RAGE. It means that Bethesda, a subsidiary of ZeniMax, will be publishing the title.

The publishing was previously being handled by EA, who entered into a deal with id Software in 2008. ZeniMax have now disclosed that EA will not be involved in the sales or marketing of the title.

Despite being announced quite a while ago, there is still no definitive release date for the game and even a year hasn't been suggested yet.
