Zune to Come to Xbox Live

Microsoft has announced that their Zune video service will be available internationally on Xbox LIVE starting this Fall. This will mark the first time the company has launched the Zune service in Europe. It is part of their strategy for the brand to be available on the PC, TV, and mobile. Consumers will be able to choose to instantly stream it live from the internet, or rent or buy the video so they can watch it when they aren't connected to the internet.
To coincide with the new service, a refresh of the Zune music player, entitled the "Zune HD", will be available in North America around the same time as the service launches on Xbox LIVE. It will have an HD-quality screen, which can grab HD Radio signals with its integrated reciever, as well as outputting at a 720p HD resolution to HDTVs. It includes a touch screen, much like the iPod Touch or iPhone, as well as a wireless browser. Of course, this means the player is wireless, so you can download music and videos on the go.
