Junk Battles Review

After forming Antic Entertainment in 2008, a group of game industry veterans started work on what would become Junk Battles, a free-to-play browser based multiplayer game. Set to capture a broad audience with low system requirements, yet detailed and engaging gameplay, Junk Battles' main advantage is that it can be played from virtually anywhere. But exactly how much can be offered through just a web browser, and what makes Junk Battles such a unique experience?

Players start the game off as a newcomer to Scrapton City, in a world where almost everything is made from (not surprisingly) junk. Towns consist of scrap melded together, vehicles are an amalgamation of spare parts and characters are wearing whatever clothing isn't completely shredded. The game has a very post-apocalyptic feel to it, which works just fine because it never takes itself too seriously. After a quick character design and a crash course in how the game works, players are then thrust into the world with a single purpose: build the best vehicle around.
