Welcome fellow portable console champions to your monthly dosage of PlayStation Vita news and releases. In this edition of the PS Vita Round-Up we cover the jam packed month of June which sees both the odd and the amazing. Titles that could almost fit any taste. However before we dive in, let's take a look at the biggest news of the month.

Following the amazing success of Ubisoft's Child of Light, it has been announced recently that this title will see a PlayStation Vita version. If Rayman is any indication, this UbiArt crafted storybook come-to-life will looks absolutely stunning on PS Vita's OLED screen.

Our second big announcement is the western release of Senran Kagura Shinovi Versus. XSEED Games had recently announced the localization of this 3D action brawler sequel in both digital and limited retail release. The retail release, subtitled "Let's Get Physical," will include a soundtrack along with a "Shinobi Syllabus" containing character profiles and gameplay strategies.

With those top news points out of the way, let's dive into the announced releases for June of 2014. Keep in mind that all dates are subject to change.

PlayStation Vita Pets
More than just another virtual pet simulator, Spiral House set out to create a real game out of Vita Pets. Featuring characters, adventures, and so much more. After choosing one of four possible pups, each with their own personalities, you can then set out on adventures together. That is when you're not training, dressing, or bathing your pup.

The goal is not only to form a bond with your virtual pup, but also to seek out the secrets and treasures hidden throughout the vast forests and caves that Castlewood Island holds. Start your adventure with your companion on June 3rd in North America and June 4th in Europe.

Hyperdimension Neptunia: Producing Perfection
The concept behind Producing Perfection is a simple one. You goal is to get as many adoring fans as possible to follow your rising idol. Featuring returning characters from the Hyperdimension Neptunia series facing the dreaded MOB46 that has managed to take shares away from the CPUs.

If that doesn't make much sense to you, fear not because at its core this game is pure fan service. People who take on this idol simulator will be able to customize their idol's outfits, send them out on shows, and even interact with them. Producing Perfection is slated to release in both physical and digital formats for North America on June 3rd. Europe will also see a release on June 6th.

Atelier Rorona Plus: The Alchemist Of Arland
Atelier Rorona created quite a following when it was released on the PS3 back in 2010. Since then, quite a bit of its following titles received Vita versions, but sadly Rorona was ignored. This changes with the paired release of the now remastered Atelier Rorona Plus for both PS3 and PS Vita.

Atelier Rorona Plus sees a revamped character model for Rorona, additional chapters, new playable characters, a redesigned crafting system, and much more. Available exclusively in digital format, the PS Vita version will be available on June 24th in North America and June 20th in Europe.

BlazBlue: Chrono Phantasma
Originally released for the PlayStation 3 back in March, Chrono Phantasma featured new characters added to the existing roster as well as new gameplay mechanics including the Overdrive ability replacing Burst. Allowing players to increase their base damage as well as enhance their abilities. Taking this fast paced and beautifully rendered 2D fighter to new heights.

For new players, Chrono Phantasma is touted as being quite accessible. Partially due to the inclusion of the great tutorial system that was originally introduced in Continuum Shift. Chrono Phantasma will release in North America on June 24th for both retail and digital download. There is no word as of yet on a European release.

XBlaze Code: Embryo
Right on the heels of BlazBlue: Chrono Phantasma is the release of XBlaze Code: Embryo. While not a typical BlazBlue game as it features no fighting, it instead is a visual novel. There's no combat gameplay, but rather a telling of events through visual art and character models.

The story it tells takes place in the year 2050, 50 years before the Dark War and 150 years before the events of the BlazBlue games. It introduces Toya Kagari, a high school student who is introduced to the mysterious "Power of the Azure." XBlaze Code: Embryo will release in both physical and digital formats on June 24th in North America. No release information has been given for Europe.

The Swapper
From the creative mind of Olli Harjola and originally released on the PC back in 2013, this award winning puzzle platformer now sees a release on the PlayStation platforms. The game takes place in the dark claustrophobic environment of a damaged research facility called Theseus.

Players utilize a device to clone their character and switch between them in order to solve a large variety of challenging puzzles. Get ready to test your mind and willpower when The Swapper arrives as a digital download in North America on June 24th and in Europe on June 25th.
