Speaking at DICE 2010, the head of Gearbox, Randy Pitchford, happily announced that Borderlands has managed to sell over three million units since it was launched just a few months ago.
Before its launch, the game saw a complete overhaul in graphics, and many analysts believed thhe game would simply be overlooked. However, everything worked out ok and Gearbox are glad they could prove people wrong.
The game is already carrying a lot of momentum in 2010, with two DLC packs already released and the third, The Secret Armory of General Knoxx, being released shortly. Expect sales to increase further.
