BioWare has announced that Dragon Age: Origins, the first title in the new game series, has sold 3.2 million units worldwide. The data was taken from internal EA data since the game's release on the week of November 3rd, 2009.
BioWare Co-Founder Dr. Muzyka had this to say in response to the title's sales figures, "This is a tremendous start for the Dragon Age franchise and we are extremely pleased with the great reception the game has already received from critics and fans worldwide."
By the sounds of it, there may be quite a few more sequels to come in the Dragon Age series. It will also be interesting to see what kind of sales the Dragon Age: Origins Awakening expansion pack will see when it is released on March 16th.
