Gamers who were on the fence about trying Thatgamecompany's flOw on PSN are in luck, as Sony is giving away free copies of the game to anyone who downloads it today. The game was made available on the PlayStation 3 back in Spring 2007, with a PSP version released a year after in 2008.

The game involves the player guiding an aquatic microorganism through varying depths of the ocean to consume other organisms, as well as evolve their organism as the player advances. The PlayStation 3 version has the player control the microorganism using the motion-sensitive ability of the Sixaxis controller, with the face buttons allowing the player to use special abilities. flOw also supports 1080p on HDTVs.

This deal is only available for those who live in the United States or Canada. Once you login to your PSN account, click on the make.believe icon, and then download flOw. The game usually costs $7.99. The promotion is set to end at 12AM EST / 9PM PST tonight.
