Announced in a Square Enix press release, Nier for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 is now set to follow just over a month and a half after their biggest upcoming title, Final Fantasy XIII. Nier, an action-RPG, will be hitting North American shelves on April 27th.
If you haven't paid much attention to Nier's development, the gist of it is that an older man named Nier sets out on a quest to find a cure for his ill daughter, Yonah. She has Black Scrawl disease, and as its fatal, Nier uses swords and magic to fight the dark enemies between him and finding out the truth behind the disease.
It sounds pretty cliched, but it's best to judge thicker details. While Japan is getting two versions of the game - one being PS3 exclusive - gamers anticipating the title can give it a go in just a few months.
