According to a report from Joystiq, the SXSW Interactive Festival being held in Austin, Texas was featuring a booth with Twisted Pixel, the developers behind XBLA classics The Maw and Splosion Man. Also at the booth was Twisted Pixel CEO, Mike Wilford, who was demoing some video of their newest title, Comic Jumper: The Adventures of Captain Smiley.
In the off-screen footage of the live demo there was some gameplay that looks very reminiscent of Splosion Man, although it seemed to be more of a brawler with the lead character smashing baddies around into destructible environments in the background and foreground.
If anything, it is very exciting to see a new game from Twisted Pixel. So far they have not disappointed, and from the looks of it, they are aiming to please for the third time in a row.
