Multiplay have just announced that i39, which will be held in April at Newbury Racecourse, will not only host the first Battlefield: Bad Company 2 tournament, but it will also feature the UK's biggest gaming bounty.

Over £20,000 in prizes will be available for participants in tournaments featuring games such as Bad Company 2, Counter-Stike: Source, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Team Fortress 2.

Up to 3,500 gamers are expected to attend and a single day spectator pass costs £10. There's also a pass for gamers who want to bring their own system for the weekend, which costs £90 - but tickets are selling fast so get in quick if you want to attend.

If you can't manage to though, don't fret. A live stream of the event will be available at the Multiplay website, so you can catch-up on all the frantic tournament action. You can also find information there about signing up for tournaments, and just the event in general.
