Ubisoft has announced that Splinter Cell: Conviction has finally gone gold, meaning the game's development is complete and has been sent to manufacturers. The company also confirmed the game is on track to meet it's April 16th release date in the UK on Xbox 360. Despite going gold, the PC version has been delayed to April 29th for unknown reasons.
Fans of the series have been waiting for what feels like a lifetime since Conviction was originally announced in 2007. Since then, the game has undergone a complete redesign, which has caused multiple delays.
