With only a few weeks before the launch of 3D Dot Game Heroes, Atlus has released yet another trailer for the game, this time revolving around the various shops available in the game, lovably called "Dot-Marts". The trailer is very much tongue-in-cheek, riffled with various references to some of the most notable translation errors in the original two Zelda games on the NES.
3D Dot Game Heroes is a throwback to the old-school games of yore, taking aspects from games like the 2D The Legend of Zelda games, but adding it's own unique mix of abilities and using a unique physics engine that mixes 2D and 3D visuals together. Your character, which is customized by the player, can equip a number of different swords, each of which have their own unique properties and looks, ranging from big swords to even fish.
3D Dot Game Heroes is set to be released on May 11, 2010 at a budget price of $39.99 in North America. European gamers won't miss out on the game, however, since publisher South Peak is working with Atlus to get the game released in that territory as close to the North American release as possible.
