A post-NPD report from the Pach Attack's Michael Pachter has revealed that 140,000 DSi XL units were sold in the US during the month of March. Released on March 28th, the DSi XL was able to achieve these figures with only four days on store shelves. Total DS sales - which include the DS Lite, DSi, and DSi XL - were 700,800.

The DSi XL sports a 4.2 inch screen, compared to the 3 inch DS Lite and 3.25 DSi, that also provides an increased viewing angle, which is supposed to make playing cooperatively with friends much easier. A larger stylus to go along with the enhanced screen is also included.

The DSi XL is available in North America for $189.99 USD.
