While neither company has yet to confirm the development of these games, both Activision Blizzard and Ubisoft have just registered a plethora of new trademarks, namely for GoldenEye and Driver.
Activision recently registers the URLs goldeneyegame.com and bloodstonegame.com. The latter is rumored to be the official name for Bizarre Creations's new James Bond racing game, while the former could possible be a reboot of the franchise, since a re-release of Rare's Nintendo 64 title is out of the question.
Ubisoft registered driversanfranciscogame.com and assassinscreedbrotherhood.com. The last few iterations of the Driver franchise hadn't done so well in retail, but the publisher giving the franchise to a new developer might change things around. As for Assassin's Creed, there's already a sequel in the works in 2011 starting Assassin's Creed II's Ezio, but the name has yet to be announced. Brotherhood could be the finalized name for the title.
Neither company has publicly commented on the revealing of the domain names.
