Tony Hawk has come out on Twitter to announce the title of an upcoming game in the pro skateboarder's series. According to Hawk, the new game is going to be called Tony Hawk: Shred.
The post from Tony Hawk on twitter has since been taken down, but multiple sources on the internet indicate that the tweet read, "Tony Hawk: Shred. There, I said it. Actually, I named it. Somewhere a PR team is reeling."
Tough it's unsure what exactly this game will consists of, speculation leads us to believe that it will be the next console title in the franchise, possibly using the skateboard peripheral included with the last title in the series, Tony Hawk: Ride.
So there is confirmation from Tony Hawk that the series is still going, but for how long? Skate 3 is already on it's way next month, not to mention Shaun White Skateboarding game coming from Ubisoft to compete this year too. Good luck, Tony.
