Just off the heels of their announcement of Harvest Moon: Hero of Leaf Valley going gold, Natsume has revealed the official release date for their next Harvest Moon title on the Nintendo DS, Harvest Moon: Grand Bazaar.
In the game's storyline, Zephyr Town's bazaar, where the player lives, used to be one of the best in the world, drawing customers and peddlers from the world over. But lately, the town is a mere shadow of what it used to be. The player is tasked with turning the town around by raising animals, harvesting crops, and selling their wares in their very own shop for the first time in the series. This shop aspect also carries on into a multiplayer mode where you can sell your wares with friends.
Natsume has Harvest Moon: Grand Bazaar pegged for a July 2010 release in North America, with the game's first public showing taking place at E3 2010 next month. Fans of the game should also note that Natsume is having a pre-order bonus for the game though GameStop, where preordering the game will net you a plush horse, similar to other preorder bonuses for the series which have featured other plush animals.
