Two years and two million levels later, LittleBigPlanet is finally getting a sequel, Sackboy is back and he's learnt a thing or two.
Sadly, it looks as though he hasn't learnt to jump properly, but Sackboy has learnt to create Racing games, Shoot-em-ups and even Breakout knockoffs aswell as the classic 2.5D platforming we're all used to. This has all been made possible through Media Molecules newly revamped Popit menu.
Sackboy even has access to all new gadgetry consisting so far of the Grappling Hook, shown quite clearly in the trailer, and Bounce Pads, which one would assume will be used for bouncing. Another neat little toy Sackboy has acquired is the "Sackbot". These are essentially puppets programmed by players to do whatever they wish. Need a zombie Sackbot as an enemy? A friend? Someone to live up to...? Well, now that's entirely possible.
But lets go beyond games a second. LBP2 has a new cinematic feature which allows custom cut-scenes within levels. It can also be used to create fully fledged movies and even music videos. Does anyone remember the Rickrolling Sackboy video? I'm bringing it back.
