Sega have announced that Obsidian's tactical espionage RPG, Alpha Protocol, has finally gone gold - this follows numerous delays after the game was initially expected to launch last October.

The game, which allows players to operate as a modern day spy, is set to tackle new grounds with its approach to the stealth genre. Players are tasked with developing relationships and honing their skills, all while trying to take down the bad guy.

The game is due out on the 28th of May in Europe and the 1st of June in North America on PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC.
