The time has come for 3D gaming. Starting tomorrow, June 10, the PlayStation 3 will be updated to support stereoscopic 3D gaming, with compatible TV sets along with 4 games that will be introduced with support along with the update. Starting tomorrow, players can play Wipeout HD, Pain, Super Stardust HD, and the MotorStorm Pacific Rift demo in 3D.

As a bonus to customers who purchase a Sony Bravia 3D compatible TV, these four titles will be offered for free in the form of a downloadable code voucher included with the TV. This brings what Sony says is "over 100 hours of gameplay" in 3D for players to jump into right away.

Sony has also announced that the upcoming PlayStation Move compatible brawler, The Fight: Lights Out, will also support 3D upon its release. Those with the compatible technology should be getting pretty excited right about now. Everyone else will be getting a little jealous.
