Gamescom: Insomniac Unveils Ratchet And Clank: All 4 One

Insomniac may have made the announcement about moving towards a multiplatform strategy back a few months ago, but they definitely haven't abandoned their 14 year relationship with Sony. The independant developer has just announced a brand new Ratchet & Clank game dubbed Ratchet & Clank: All 4 One exclusively for the PlayStation 3.

The announcement was just made a few minutes ago at the Sony event at gamescom. All 4 One will feature an on and offline, drop-in-drop-out cooperative mode. Players will, for the first time in the entire franchise, take the reigns of Ratchet, Clank, Quark and Nefarious as they work their way through platforming, puzzles and epic boss fights, all of which have become a standard in the Ratchet & Clank franchise.

The announcement(s) was so big, that Insominac's official website is being hammered with an insane amount of traffic and is currently down for the count, for now anyways.

Insomniac plans on following up on the reveal with a panel at PAX which is being held in Seattle on September 4.
