THQ has announced a major coup in the world of video games, as they've managed to recruit Patrice Désilets as the guy who will head their new THQ Montreal studio.

Désilets made a name for himself at Ubisoft, after being the creative director on the Assassin's Creed franchise, and also working on games like Prince of Persia.

He left Ubisoft earlier this year because he wanted to take a break from the industry, but he'll be back in the Summer of 2011 to head up THQ's new Montreal studio.
