Rumours of a PlayStation Phone were spread around back in August, claiming the device to be a culmination of both the Sony Ericsson and PlayStation brands. Rumoured to feature a touchpad, PSP style buttons as well as an Android 3.0 (Gingerbread) operating system.
Well, according to Engadget, it's quite real. In fact, they have pictures of the sneaky little device. It's currently in "prototyping" phase so it looks rather bland as well as being "buggy." It looks like a mix of the Xperia 10 and the PSPgo, except it has a touchpad for dual analog sticks.
This device supposedly hides within its chassis a 1GHz Qualcomm MSM8655, 512MB of RAM, 1GB of ROM and a large screen ranging between 3.7 and 4.1 inches.
It'll be interesting to see which arrives first, this or the PSP2.
