Microsoft: Kinect Will Be Sold For A Profit

It's been no secret that Microsoft have pumped a ton of money in an effort to be a big player within the console industry, but it seems as though they're finally turning the tables as they're manufacturing Kinect to make a profit from launch.

The news was divulged by Don Mattrick, the president of Microsoft's interactive business arm who also stated that the Kinect prototype cost $30,000 to make and that project has so far cost the company hundreds of millions of dollars.

I'm sure everyone is glad that they don't have to pay $30,000, but the speculated price of £50 would have been much nicer than £130.
