Nintendo 3DS Battery Life Shorter Than DS

Everyone knows by now that the Nintendo 3DS is going to have much beefier graphics than the Nintendo DS and it's natural to assume that this will require more power.

However, despite this, Nintendo aren't making the battery more beefy and instead are suggesting that people just charge up more often.

Speaking during a meeting with investors, Nintendo President Satoru Iwata said "As for the battery, it is inevitable that Nintendo 3DS will be a device which requires more frequent recharging than Nintendo DS."

The 3DS will come with a dedicated battery charger, but this could cut down the amount of time it can be used on the go.
