Sega Readjusts Forcasted Income

Sega Sammy has adjusted the company's forcasts for the next financial year from 22,000 million yen (£167 million) to 37,500 million yen (£285 million).

They've stated that the reason for this is significant improvements in the arcade business; specifically with the Pachislot and Pachinko machines

"While the consumer business saw mainly sales of new titles in overseas markets hover at weak volumes, the amusement machine sales business and amusement center operations business are expected to maintain robust operating results."

Let's hope that when the Financial Year ends March 31, 2011, Sega has reached their goals.
