Spielberg And EA's 'LMNO' Game Cancelled.

"LMNO", a game which would have been a love-child of EA and Steven Spielberg has now been cancelled.

The game was to be about a secret service agent during WWII which clashed too much with Pandemic's Saboteur; another game set around a spy and WWII. EA acquired the project and developer and because of this, decided two WWII spy games would just be too much for one publisher.

"I'm sure anybody you ask is gonna tell you something a little bit different, but it didn't end up ever taking off," said ex-LMNO dev Jake Kazdal. "There was some rival game stuff that may or may not have come out of EA that was basically the same thing minus some of the stuff we were doing. There was just a lot of politics."

Apparently the two were involved in a three-game deal and it's reported that the publisher and director still have a relationship going.

Maybe we'll have some type of collaboration between the two in the future.
