Ubisoft has announced that Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood has managed to ship over one million copies in its first week of launch in Europe. This makes it the fastest selling game in Ubisoft's history, in the European region.
"Apart from the big marketing campaign that we started a few weeks ago, and which continues over the coming weeks, the main reason the game has succeeded is that we transformed the brand from a single player one to a multiplayer one," explained Geoffroy Sardin, EMEA chief of marketing and sales at Ubisoft.
He said that 60 percent of people had checked out the multiplayer modes.
