Kinect Only Costs $56 To Make

Microsoft recently announced that Kinect would be sold for a profit, but it's now been disclosed exactly how much of a profit they'll be making.

EETimes are reporting that Kinect only costs $56 to make, which is obviously a significantly smaller fee than their asking price of $150 in the US and £130 in the UK.

It means that Microsoft have plenty of room to drop the price of their peripheral further down the line should they choose to.
