Harmonix Founders File Lawsuit Against Parent Company Viacom

The former shareholders of Harmonix have filed a lawsuit against its parent company Viacom, accusing them of attempting to dodge payouts owed to the Rock Band developer.

The group includes the founders of Harmonix, Alex Rigopulos and Eran Egozy. Apparently Viacom is being accused of manipulating costs after the huge success of Rock Band in order to avoid a large earn-out payment to Harmonix.

Viacom had acquired Harmonix in 2006 and due to relations going downhill, it is now looking to sell the Rock Band developer.
