Minus the live action bits, Insomniac Games is assuring the ever watchful eyes of the gaming populace that all of the gameplay footage seen in the world premiere of Resistance 3 is rendered with the in-game engine.

"And just for all you asking, the gameplay footage in the Resistance trailer is all real-time in-engine - no trickery there."

The trailer mixed with some live action showcased mostly new Chimera like the Longlegs as well as the improvised weapons boasted earlier this year: that Rossmore did a nasty number on one of them Longlegs, blowing up the point of entry and showering protagonist Joseph Capelli with plenty of Chimeran gore.

Long-time rival studio Naughty Dog also made a similar statement regarding Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception!

Resistance 3 is out next year on September 6.
