Ballmer: Xbox 360 Isn't A Games Console
Microsoft boss Steve Ballmer has very confidently claimed that the Xbox 360 is no longer a games console. Instead, it's a "family entertainment center".
The quote comes from a recent interview with USA Today where Ballmer was talking about how Kinect has broadened the console's audience.
"You go to your average 15-year-old boy, and he will say, 'I'll take an Xbox'. I want that average 15-year-old girl [to be] as excited about the Kinect, and we haven't done as good a job drawing in that broader set of demographics," said Ballmer.
It'll be interesting to see where they feel they can take the console next.
