Ubisoft has announced that Just Dance 2 has managed to sell more than 5 million units since it was released during the back-end of 2010.
This makes it the best selling single-platform release of the year and it's certainly a good follow-up to the initial game, which was something of a phenomenon.
"The Just Dance franchise has revitalised the video game music category with consumers worldwide joining the dance movement. Players of all ages are enjoying the social and physical benefits of playing Just Dance 2 as it's truly a game that is accessible and enjoyable for everyone," said Geoffroy Sardin, chief EMEA sales and marketing officer at Ubisoft.
Even though Just Dance 2 was released during 2010, Just Dance also sold a significant amount of copies, as according to the UKIE, both titles were among the top selling Wii titles of 2010.
