2K games has just released the promised "Protector Trials" and "Minerva's Den" downloadable content packs for BioShock 2, but many are reporting that neither of them actually work.
The DLC packs appeared in the Games For Windows Marketplace for the price of $5.75, however 2K games were in such haste to release them, that they didn't check to see if they worked properly. Instead, they are currently not playable due to "technical and timing issues", said a 2K representative via the 2K forums.
The representative went on to say that gamers should "wait till my word before you go grab it - it's not ready yet." There is no word on when the appropriate patch is set to be released.
