Ubisoft has revealed that they've shipped 6.5 million copies of Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood, the latest title to be released under the umbrella of their premier franchise.
Brotherhood is a direct sequel to Assassin's Creed 2, but isn't Assassin's Creed 3. Despite this, it still offered a lot of value.
Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot said: "Ubisoft has also made its mark as a creator of new game genres, with its two flagship brands, Assassin's Creed and Just Dance. The record performance achieved in third-quarter 2010-11 as well as the fact that three of our games were among the best sellers over the crucial Christmas period is further evidence of the relevance of our strategy."
Many expect Assassin's Creed 3 to hit this year, but details about the game as scarce.
