Duty Calls Downloaded Over 1.25 Million Times

It's been revealed that Duty Calls, the not-so-subtle parody of Activision's Call of Duty franchise, has been downloaded more than 1.25 million times by consumers.

The game, which is available for free at http://www.thedutycalls.com lasts for approximately five minutes, but features plenty of non-stop action. There's even a trailer on the site which sets the scene perfectly.

On a serious note, the game was developed by People Can Fly, who're currently working on Bulletstorm. It's a tongue in cheek jibe at the genre, which they hope will make people realise how crazy and far-out their own game is.
